What is the Best live rock cement or reef cement available? E-Marco 400 surely takes the lead on many aspects of building a perfect aquascape.
Have you ever wondered how they make those remarkable aquascape structures? MarcoRocks E-Marco-400 Aquascaping Kit is how! Here at Sea City Corals we use a verity of different rock adhesive product. Each product we use tends to work better for certain things than others. Like the putty and gels are great for nano tanks, while in our opinion the bigger aqua scape designs require something a bit more stronger.
In the near future we will be doing a comparison test on different types of adhesives and how much weight in PSI each is able to hold. We will post an article with the results and our opinion on the matter after the test.
One aspect of the Pink E-Marco to consider is when you are using rock with no coralline algae growth on it, it sticks out a bit in contrast between the pink cement and the white rock. While the pink looks great on rock with coralline algae growth on it, the gray we recommend is used on rock that has little coralline to none for the same reason. But if grey is the only option, remember that with proper water parameters and a coralline booster (if you would like to speed up the proces) the algae will cover the gray cement in no time at all.
This is a picture of a scape we built using E-Marco-400 Morta, MarcoRock Reef Saver, Foundation and Shelf rock for a 200 gallon aquarium.
As you can see the overhangs and caves have incredible depth in the design. The larger pieces of shelf rock weigh about 20-25LB each and the E Marco 400 has no problem holding them in place.
As a matter of fact the cement, if properly used, once fully cured is stronger than the rock itself.
